Restaurants, hotels and bars browse the whole range and the catalogues themselves, in Croatian or English.

Where it started

Urban Design supplies premium HoReCa brands (Villeroy & Boch, RAK, Schönwald, Bormioli) to restaurants, hotels and bars across Croatia. The business ran on a paper catalog, a phone, and Sanja's inbox. Every order required two or three calls to confirm specs, prices, and stock. There was no way for a chef in Dubrovnik to see what was on the shelf at 11pm before a Monday opening, and no way for the owner to update prices without calling a developer.

What we did

01Product gallery with filters
Every product in one gallery, filtered by category (Dining, HoReCa, Bistro, Bar, Textile) and by size for textiles. Search opens with the / key, and the query stays in a link that can be passed on.

02PDF catalogues
Catalogues to download, with a cover made automatically from the first page of the PDF. Large PDFs shrink themselves on upload, so they download quickly too.

03Web shop with Stripe checkout
A cart with quantities, sale prices and delivery cost, with card payment through Stripe. The shop is switched on and off with one toggle in the admin panel.

04Enquiries and newsletter
An enquiry from the contact form is saved in the admin panel and arrives by email at the same time. When the customer comes from a product, its code is already filled in. Signing up to the newsletter sends a welcome email straight away, and unsubscribing is one click.

05Their own admin panel
Products, catalogues, orders, messages and subscribers in one place. The dashboard shows revenue, orders to ship and low stock, and seasonal products appear and disappear by date on their own.

06Two languages and a look of its own
The whole site in Croatian and English, with one cart across both. A warm palette with brass accents, so the catalogue reads like a lookbook rather than a Shopify theme.
